The partients entered in two groups; A & B: group A were given 2gr cephalosporin and group B 2gr placebo for 3 dose (IV). From 102 patients 48 pt were in group A and 54 were in group B. All the patients examined at tha admission time and two weeks post operation for infection parameters (wound infection, endometritis, urinary infection). Non of the patients in group A showed infection and one patient in group B had wound infection (1/8%). There was no significant differences between two groups by X2 test.
