The immunosuppressive agent has changed the clinical course of MS. Mostly, this agent, like cyclophosphamide cyclosporine A., and X-Ray of the lymphoid organ, has a lot of side effects. It should only be used in the most severe from of MS among immunosuppressive agents, Azathioprin has been used most frequently in spite of the fact that it is not very effective compared with other immunosuppressive agents. The new treatment toll for MS is interferon and copolymer - I Monocolonal antibody is a new hope, but it is under investigation. We need to have a five - year clinical trial in order to establish whether or not it is an effective treatment. Corticotherapy is more effective and the duration of acute attack is shorter when the patient is on steroids. Also, clinical manifestation is less, but does have a preventive effect.
