All belonged to low-income families and their growth and development caracteristics were below standard. Diagnosis was confirmed in 4 cases through bone marrow aspiration and in one case by raised serum antibody titer prior to treatment and dramatic response to specific treatment. Hepatosplenomegaly in 100%, fever in 75%, edema, epistaxis, petechia, and hyperpigmentation in 25%, echymosis in 60%, and abdominal distension in 100% of our reported cases were present. Antimonium methy lglucamine 30% was used in the treatment in all cases. 5 ml every other day was started and continued up to the total dose of 150 ml cure rate was 100%.
