Asanloo M. Lung Changes in Shock. Research in Medicine 1975; 4 (1) :57-59

In the very beginning stage of the lung changes are Perivascular, capillary wall edema, thickening of the interstitial, lymph and vascular dilatation. 
In the late stage of the shock the following changes will occuree 
Microthromboses of the lung capillary, polynulcear in­filtration into the interstitial, the existence of polynu­clear in the alveoli, proliferation of interstitial mesenchy­ma, thickening of the alveolar wall, internal alveolar edema, stablishing of hyaline membrane, damaging of surfactant and producing of athelectases. The hypoxia as a result of all these changes would not cured by giving 100% oxygen.
