fa زمان انتظار ارائه خدمات اورژانس در بیمارستان‌های منتخب دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایران در سال 1386 بین رشته ای ( مدیریت آموزشی، تحقیقات آموزشی، آموزش پزشکی ) Interdisciplinary (Educational Management, Educational research, Statistics, Medical education پژوهشی Original چکیده سابقه و هدف: یکی از عوامل مؤثر در بهینه‌سازی و ارتقاء کیفیت خدمات اورژانس، بررسی گردش کار و زمان توقف بیماران در اورژانس می‌باشد. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی و مقایسه زمان‌های انتظار بیماران برای دریافت خدمات تشخیصی و درمانی در بخش اورژانس از زمان ورود بیمار تا خروج از این بخش بود. روش بررسی: در این پژوهش توصیفی، با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌ای که بر اساس فرم "زمان سنجی گردش کار خدمات اورژانس" وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی طراحی شده بود، اطلاعات 249 مراجعه کننده به بخش اورژانس مرکز آموزشی درمانی حضرت رسول اکرم و بیمارستان فیروز آبادی تهران ، از 18 آذر تا اول دی ماه 1386 به صورت پیوسته و به مدت یک هفته در هر بیمارستان از زمان ورود به اورژانس تا ترخیص جمع‌آوری و زمان‌های انتظار برای دریافت خدمات تشخیص و درمانی بررسی شد. یافته ها: میانگین کل مدت اقامت بیمار در بخش اورژانس 6/283 دقیقه بود که میانگین این زمان در بخش اورژانس مرکز آموزشی درمانی حضرت رسول اکرم (3/346 دقیقه) بسیار طولانی‌تر از بیمارستان فیروزآبادی (5/229 دقیقه) بود. میانگین کلی فاصله زمانی ورود بیمار تا اولین ویزیت پزشک 1/13 دقیقه و میانگین کلی فاصله زمانی اولین ویزیت تا انجام اولین اقدام درمانی 3/105 دقیقه بود. میانگین کلی فاصله زمانی صدور دستور ترخیص توسط پزشک تا خروج بیمار از بخش اورژانس 3/49 دقیقه بود. نتیجه گیری: به نظر می‌رسد زمان انتظار ارائه خدمات در بیمارستان‌های مورد بررسی طولانی می‌باشد، لذا بازنگری و اصلاح فرآیندهای ارائه خدمت به بیمار در بخش اورژانس و همچنین آموزش به ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات ضروری است. واژگان کلیدی: اورژانس، زمان انتظار، بیمارستان. Abstract Background: Provision of prompt medical services is the main purpose of the emergency department. Waiting time for receiving appropriate services is considered as an important indicator for evaluating hospitals. The objective of this study was to determine the average waiting time for receiving treatment and diagnostic services in the emergency department from the point of arrival of the patient up to his exit in Rasool Akram and Firoozabadi hospitals in 2007. Methods: Data was collected using designed questionnaire based on" the time study of emergency services provision form" prepared by the Ministry of Health. The waiting time for receiving medical services was studied for 239 consecutive patients from their arrival up to their discharge in the emergency department of two selected hospitals for a period of one week from 8th to 22nd of December, 2007. Results: Average length of stay for patients in the emergency department was 283.6 minutes. The average waiting time in Rasool Akram teaching hospital, (346.3 min), was much more than Firoozabadi hospital. Average time spent from patient arrival up to the first visit, (checkup) was 13.1 minutes and the average time spent between first visit and the first treatment step was 105.3 minutes. Furthermore, the average duration between the time the patients were discharged by the physicians till the time of exit from the emergency department was 49.3 minutes. Conclusion: In order to decrease the waiting time for receiving medical services in emergency department of teaching hospitals and to increase patient satisfaction, reviewing the process of service provision to patients and training of service providers is urgently needed.
