Background: Considering the increasing incidence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) without diagnostic ECG change and importance of diagnostic markers including QT dispersion in ACS, we aimed to determine the relationship between QT dispersion and CK-MB in patients who referred to Taleghani Hospital in year 1391. Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study was concluded on patients who referred to Talegani hospital due to ACS and chest pain without diagnostic ECG change. Patients age, sex, blood pressure, pulse rate,EF, serum potassium level, number of diseased vessels, DM and smoking were recorded. Pearson correlation determined between QT dispersion, CK-MB and other markers. The results and p-value were recorded. Results: This study was performed on 51 patients with the mean age of 61.3+/-13.9 years.58.8% were male and 41.2% were female. Pearson correlation between CK-MB and QT dispersion was 0.49 (P<0.001).The results showed significant relation between QT dispersion and CK-MB but no relation between QT dispersion and other markers. Conclusion: In this study, it seems that CK-MB is correlated with QT dispersion in patients with ACS. For elaborating this finding and our previous mentioned results we recommended performing complementary future studies with the availability of control group.
